Setting Up Todoist

Go to Settings → Integrations in the Hyperaide web app

Dates are automatically formatted for Todoist.

Troubleshooting

Possible solutions:
  1. Check that the integration is connected in Settings
  2. Wait 30-60 seconds for sync to complete
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting Todoist
  4. Verify the task exists in Todoist
  5. Check for any Todoist service outages
Possible solutions:
  1. Try searching with different keywords
  2. Check if the task is in a different project
  3. Verify the task isn’t completed or deleted
  4. Ask “Show all my Todoist tasks” to see everything
Solution: Todoist tokens can expire for security:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find Todoist and click Reconnect
  3. Re-authorize access
  4. Your integration resumes working
Solutions:
  1. Be more explicit: “Add to the Work project”
  2. Use exact project names from Todoist
  3. Your assistant will ask if ambiguous
  4. You can move tasks after creation

Be Specific

Say “Todoist” when you want to create tasks there specifically, otherwise your assistant may choose

Use Projects

Organize with Todoist projects—your assistant understands and respects your structure

Leverage Labels

Use Todoist labels and mention them when creating tasks for better organization

Natural Dates

Use natural language for dates—“tomorrow”, “next Friday”, “in 3 days”—your assistant handles conversion

Disconnecting Todoist

To disconnect Todoist from Hyperaide:

Open Settings

Navigate to Settings → Integrations

Find Todoist

Locate your Todoist integration

Disconnect

Click Disconnect and confirm

Revoke Access (Optional)

Visit Todoist settings to fully revoke Hyperaide’s access
Disconnecting doesn’t delete your Todoist tasks—it only removes Hyperaide’s ability to access them. Your tasks remain safe in Todoist.
Todoist + Hyperaide is perfect if you’re already a Todoist user but want natural language control and cross-platform automation. Connect it and you’ll never need to open Todoist manually again!
